This motto is also followed by the Opera Square Festival, which combines culinary and cultural delights in the most beautiful way. Here, strollers and gourmets like to meet under the large sunshades to enjoy international specialties with a glass of wine or sparkling wine. The food stands offer visitors a wide range of specialties, from Spanish tapas to fresh seafood and Japanese sushi. Musical entertainment will be provided by numerous live bands and piano concerts at lunchtime. The atmosphere of the Opernplatz Festival becomes particularly charming in the evening, when the facade of the Alte Oper and the square around the fountain are festively illuminated with many lights.
