Lights, rides, autumn magic

Finale of the folk fest season
------------------------------

When autumn arrives in Frankfurt, it's time for the grand finale of the festival season: the Autumn Dippemess. It's the last opportunity of the year to immerse yourself in the exuberant atmosphere of a folk festival and enjoy special moments.

Celebrate the changing of the seasons with family and friends and experience once again the unmistakable flair that makes this time of year so special. When the lights twinkle, the rides thrill and the smell of roasted almonds fills the air, Frankfurt shows one last time this year how lively tradition can be. Be there when we bid a fitting farewell to the folk festival season.

Children's funfair
(Knirpse-Kirmes)

Small prizes for little ones at the Dippemess

Every Tuesday, Dippemess invites all children up to the age of 12 to the Knirpse-Kirmes (kids' fair) from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. During this period, there are special offers on all rides and stands. Face painting for children will be on offer again this year in front of the Ferris wheel.

The Mascot Party, where lots of well-known Frankfurt mascots – such as Eintracht’s eagle Attila – will be flooding the fairground and will be ready for photos and cuddles, always adds a bit of extra atmosphere to the fairground.

- Is the festival site barrier-free?

The Dippemess festival grounds in autumn are not fully accessible, but are designed to be barrier-free. Accessible toilets are available at every toilet location.
- What is the "Child Finder" (Kinder-Finder) and how is it used?

With the Kinder-Finder (Child Finder), you can relax and enjoy your visit to Frankfurt's folk festivals. This free service from the Frankfurt Showmen's Association is aimed particularly at families with small children and provides added security at the festival grounds.

The Kinder-Finder is a wristband on which you enter your mobile phone number. If you lose sight of your child in the hustle and bustle, other visitors or the police can quickly reach you by phone. This makes it easy for you to find each other again.

The wristband is available free of charge at all children's rides. Simply pick one up, write down your number and enjoy the hustle and bustle with peace of mind.
- Why is there no fireworks display at the end of the Dippemess?

Due to structural changes at the fairground, the area no longer provides sufficient open space and visibility for a fireworks display. Therefore, the decision has been made not to hold a fireworks show at the end of the Dippemess.
- Is it possible to arrive by car?

We recommend travelling to the fairgrounds via public transport. Please note that there is no car parking available at the fairground. Handicapped parking spaces are located on Ostendstraße in limited numbers.
- Are there disabled parking spaces?

There are a limited number of disabled parking spaces on the corner of Ostendstraße and Ratsweg.
- How do you get to the Dippemess in autumn by public transport?

The "Eissporthalle/Festplatz" stop is right next to the fairground. **Underground Line U7, Tram Line 12 and Bus Lines 38 and 103** stop next to the Ferris wheel and rollercoaster. These services run until after midnight and thus also ensure a good journey home. The U7 line also offers more space almost all the time thanks to additional carriages.
