**A good place to be surprised: This stage offers comedy and cabaret as well as readings and concerts. What's on the programme tonight?**

Big feelings, little nasties, vibrant stage life and colourful shows: that's how the cabaret stage describes itself – and it's a good description. It is the colourful mix of events that makes up the theatre, which was founded in 1987.
Two times a year, in March and November, the theatre offers a four-week variety programme, otherwise the repertoire includes cabaret, music performances, a cappella performances, comedy evenings and readings.
Before and after performances, people meet in the theatre's own bar, and cineastes also appreciate the Filmforum Höchst arthouse cinema attached to the theatre.
