Guided Tour " Highlights of the Dom (Cathedral)" (englisch)

For centuries, Frankfurt Cathedral served as the election and coronation site of the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire. Traces of history are still evident in the building. This tour takes you to the high choir with its medieval choir stalls and the wall paintings depicting the legend of St. Bartholomew. The largest medieval depiction of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, the ‚Maria Schlaf Altar‘, is also part of the tour.
