The exhibition "Country bin pull'em" focuses on an expedition to north-western Australia in 1938. Researchers from the Frankfurt Frobenius Institute - closely associated with the Weltkulturen Museum at the time - documented the impressive rock art of the Wanjina-Wunggurr communities. The exhibition brings the historical collections from this journey into a lively dialog with contemporary works by indigenous Australian artists. Monumental copies of rock paintings, objects and photographs meet contemporary perspectives that make indigenous voices audible and visible. The exhibition was created in close collaboration with Australian partners. Guided tours in German, English and Spanish offer exciting insights and invite visitors to get to know the stories behind the rock paintings.
