The Autumn Dippemess will open on 11 September 2026 at 6 pm at the chain carousel (Wellenflug).

The Dippemess festival grounds in autumn are not fully accessible, but are designed to be barrier-free. Accessible toilets are available at every toilet location.

With the Kinder-Finder (Child Finder), you can relax and enjoy your visit to Frankfurt's folk festivals. This free service from the Frankfurt Showmen's Association is aimed particularly at families with small children and provides added security at the festival grounds.

The Kinder-Finder is a wristband on which you enter your mobile phone number. If you lose sight of your child in the hustle and bustle, other visitors or the police can quickly reach you by phone. This makes it easy for you to find each other again.

The wristband is available free of charge at all children's rides. Simply pick one up, write down your number and enjoy the hustle and bustle with peace of mind.

Due to structural changes at the fairground, the area no longer provides sufficient open space and visibility for a fireworks display. Therefore, the decision has been made not to hold a fireworks show at the end of the Dippemess.

We recommend travelling to the fairgrounds via public transport. Please note that there is no car parking available at the fairground. Handicapped parking spaces are located on Ostendstraße in limited numbers.

There are a limited number of disabled parking spaces on the corner of Ostendstraße and Ratsweg.

The "Eissporthalle/Festplatz" stop is right next to the fairground. Underground Line U7, Tram Line 12 and Bus Lines 38 and 103 stop next to the Ferris wheel and rollercoaster. These services run until after midnight and thus also ensure a good journey home. The U7 line also offers more space almost all the time thanks to additional carriages.

No. Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the festival grounds. Assistance dogs are exempt from this rule.

• Pets are not allowed on the festival grounds (except for assistance dogs)

  • Imitation weapons
  • Cannabis
  • Drugs
  • Bicycles and e-scooters
  • Dogs
  • Nitrous oxide (laughing gas)
  • Brought-in spirits and mixed alcoholic beverages
  • Pyrotechnics
  • Pointed tools and other dangerous objects
  • Animal repellent spray
  • Weapons and knives of any kind (including pocket knives, etc.)

This year, we have a fantastic new offer for children up to 12 years of age: the Knirpse-Kirmes (kids' funfair). Every Tuesday between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., there are special offers on all rides and stalls.

Yes, Mondays are closing days and the Dippemess is closed.
