OUT OF MY HEAD
We are increasingly distancing ourselves from our feelings, ignoring the voices inside us and looking for answers on the outside, as if they were somewhere far away. But what if we found the courage to go beyond pure reason - and look at the world, inside and out, with open curiosity? Perhaps we would discover how many voices are waiting to be heard, accepted and brought to life. What do they sound like? And what does the fear that suppresses them sound like? Inspired by William Blake's poem Garden of Love (1793), the Naxos Hallenkonzert searches for answers in contemporary works for solo oboe. Video art expands and intensifies perception.
