Company Profile

Company Profile

The Frankfurt Tourist+Congress Board (TCF) is the official marketing company of the City of Frankfurt am Main for the business sectors of tourism, congresses and conferences. It is also the chief organiser of the city’s folk fairs and fun festivals.

The sole shareholder of TCF is the City of Frankfurt am Main. The bodies of the company are the shareholders' meeting (the municipal council of the City of Frankfurt am Main), the Supervisory Board and the Managing Director.

TCF's expenditure budget in 2024 amounts to around € 26.1 million. The self-financing will amount to approx. 20%. The planned revenue of around € 5.2 million is mainly generated by Frankfurt Services and public festivals/events.

Around a quarter of the funds required to market the city will therefore be generated from the company's own revenues. In addition, TCF is dependent on financing from its shareholder, the City of Frankfurt am Main, in order to achieve its corporate goals. For 2024, TCF will receive regular city funding of € 2.94 million as well as € 1 million from the economic sector to strengthen tourism and congress marketing. A further € 11.8 million will be made available for the implementation of the public viewing and fan zone areas for UEFA EURO 2024. Municipal marketing funds of € 5 million are planned from the tourism contribution.

TCF holds 20% of the share capital of Frankfurt Ticket RheinMain GmbH, which was transferred to TCF by the shareholder, the City of Frankfurt am Main, in 2011.

As at 30.06.2023, a total of 61 employees and an additional 15 temporary student workers and mini-jobbers were employed. The total headcount corresponds to 61.40 full-time equivalents.
