Kingsize Roger & The Blue Wonder Experience
are an extraordinary 11-piece band.
The core of the band came together in 2019 following an advertisement. Following the call "Who wants to make blues and soul music?", musicians with strings, keys, wind instruments and percussion came forward from all around Frankfurt. The enthusiastic and diverse responses were not only to allow a blues band with the usual line-up, but also the inclusion of a brass section in order to present the special repertoire authentically.
Originally planned for a single concert, with only three months to go, the successful performance triggered so many moments of happiness among the musicians that nobody wanted to believe in the uniqueness of the event.
