The work of world-famous photographers is on display here, as are the photographs of exciting newcomers.
More and more people are becoming passionate about photography as an art form—and that’s also thanks to the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt (FFF). It was founded in 1984 and has been delighting its audience ever since. Sometimes the exhibits feature icons of photographic history, such as Helmut Newton, Sebastião Salgado, or Dennis Hopper; other times, they showcase new discoveries and promising talents. Many works were shown here for the first time in Germany.
Since 2014, the FFF has been located on Braubachstraße, in a merchant’s house in the historic old town. In addition to three to five carefully curated exhibitions per year, photography enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting program of lectures and seminars. Incidentally, many members of the FFF team are photographers themselves; their experiences shape both the individual exhibitions and the spirit of the institution.
