Bridge

The Holbeinsteg footbridge is like the Eiserne Steg reserved solely for pedestrians and cyclists. This makes it possible for non-motorists to take in the scenes on the southern museum embankment as well as the magnificent skyline situated on the northern side of the river.

Architect: Albert Speer &  Partner GmbH. Completion: 1990
The Holbeinsteg, a suspension bridge attached to two blue-coloured towers by red and grey-blue cables, was opened in 1990.
