But safe! Inclusive dance workshop with Reclaiming Dance in Gallus

ABER SICHER! is an inclusive workshop with discussion formats, dance and somatic practices on the topic of safe structures / safe(r) spaces in public space. Together we ask: What do public spaces need so that everyone feels comfortable and safe? How can we shape spaces through our movement and our actions? The workshop will result in a spontaneous performance, which we will then show together at the kiosk. No previous experience is necessary - everyone is welcome.

In the inclusive dance project RECLAIMING DANCE, the dancer duo Keiko Schmitt and Anno Bolender work with various methods of bodywork from contemporary, improvisation-based dance and somatic practice. The aim is to find new forms of dance in which everyone feels comfortable and which do not exclude anyone. In changing programs, socially relevant topics can be experienced through mindful, creative movement practices and empowering community experiences.
