DIE RADIERER
DIE RADIERER from Limburg are probably Germany’s oldest post-punk band. Founded in 1978 by Jürgen Beuth and C. B. Bodenstein, they were among the spearheads of the so-called “Neue Deutsche Welle” alongside DAF, Palais Schaumburg, Der Plan, and Fehlfarben
In 1980, DIE RADIERER signed directly with the legendary ZickZack label, where they scored an early underground hit with “Angriff auf’s Schlaraffenland.”
