Ella Carina Werner & Juliane Pieper: "The rooster constantly explains to the hen how to lay eggs"

Literary Event
Why don't snakes have arms? So they don't have to do any housework. And why are Highland cows so hairy? Because they couldn't care less whether the bulls find it desirable or not. Hamburg satirist Ella Carina Werner and Berlin illustrator Juliane Pieper read comical "feminist animal poems" and show the accompanying congenial illustrations from their bestseller "Der Hahn erläutert unentwegt der Henne, wie man Eier legt", published by Kunstmann Verlag in spring 2025. They will also reveal which hot feminist topics they will be tackling in their forthcoming sequel. Ella Carina Werner (co-editor of TITANIC) will also be presenting new, whimsical stories from her everyday life as a middle-aged woman and salon lioness - a first exclusive preview of her next story collection "Menopause Trubosause", which will be published in 2026.
