"Highlights of the Cathedral" Guided Tour

For centuries, Frankfurt Cathedral served as the site of the election and coronation of the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. Traces of this history are still visible on the building. This guided tour takes you to the high choir with its medieval choir stalls and the murals depicting the legend of St. Bartholomew. The tour also includes the largest medieval depiction of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, the Altar of the Dormition of Mary.
