Open Workshops

The Junge Museum Frankfurt (JuM), which opened in 1972, is the oldest children’s museum in Europe and shares its location with the Frankfurt Historical Museum. The JuM designs and presents interactive exhibitions specifically tailored for children and young people between the ages of 6 and 14. Great emphasis is placed on diversity and multidimensionality. Hands-on exploration is expressly encouraged, and self-directed play and learning, as well as hands-on and artistic creation, are at the heart of all its programs.
