On Rooftop Day, the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 (WDC) invites you to discover Frankfurt from new perspectives. On the terrace of the Jewish Museum, the focus will be on the city of tomorrow - with exciting insights into design, architecture and the planned cultural mile along the historic ramparts.

Program description

As part of the Rooftop Day on 6 June, the WDC will provide insights into current future topics in the city. On the terrace of the Jewish Museum, the focus will be on the planned cultural mile along the historic ramparts. Representatives of city politics - Dr. Markus Gwechenberger, Dr. Ina Hartwig and Tina Zapf-Rodriguez - will provide insights into the current plans. In addition, the WDC Open Design Week from June 5 to 14 will offer a diverse program of design, architecture and urban development. Expert guided tours of selected high-rise buildings and rooftops such as Taunusturm, Omniturm, Westhafen Tower, The Florentin and Tower 185 will open up additional perspectives on Frankfurt's architecture and skyline.
