The Lord Mayor's office with its balcony offers a special perspective of Frankfurt's city centre.
Programme:
On the Lord Mayor's balcony - exclusively for Rooftop Day
A very special change of perspective: to mark Frankfurt's Rooftop Day, Frankfurt's Römer City Hall is once again opening up the Lord Mayor's balcony - with an impressive view over St Paul's Square and the city skyline.
But that's not all:
A short tour takes you through areas that are otherwise inaccessible - including the Lord Mayor's office, the magnificent Wandelhalle and the historic magistrate's meeting room.
A special highlight: you get a rare glimpse of the original Golden Book of the City of Frankfurt, in which prominent personalities have immortalised themselves since 1903. It will be taken out of the vault and presented for this day.
Tour times:
The tours start every 30 minutes at the Römerpforte (Römerberg 23):
5:00 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, 9:30 pm, 10:00 pm, 10:30 pm
A look behind the scenes of the Römer - and over the rooftops of the city.
