oben Restaurant und Sky Bar

They’re up there—in the truest sense of the word: The restaurant and its accompanying skybar are part of the Meliá Hotel Frankfurt City and are located on the 15th floor of the One Forty West skyscraper. The view of Frankfurt from up here, 85 meters above ground, is second to none; in the summer, you can also enjoy the view from the panoramic terrace while relaxing in the cozy lounge chairs. The skyline view is the perfect accompaniment to a “Sky Martini” or other signature drinks at the bar; the vermouth is a house specialty. To go with it, there are tapas—or, for those with a heartier appetite, upscale Spanish cuisine at the restaurant "oben". Incidentally, it’s not just the view of Frankfurt that’s elegant and trendy—the interior of the bar and restaurant is, too: this is thanks in part to the wall installation by Frankfurt-based Pop Art artist Nathalie von Kretschmann. On weekends, DJs spin tunes in the bar.
