Bildungsstätte Anne Frank e.V.

Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt am Main on June 12, 1929—and, after years on the run and in hiding from the Nazis, was murdered in 1945 at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. In memory of the girl from Frankfurt, whose diary became world-famous, this educational centre works nationwide to raise awareness among young people and adults about anti-Semitism and racism through workshops, training programs, and the interactive learning lab “Anne Frank. More Tomorrow,” located in Frankfurt’s Dornbusch neighbourhood, just a few hundred meters from Anne Frank’s birthplace. Here, school classes and youth groups are encouraged to engage with every form of discrimination—both in the past and in the present.
