Readings, lectures, concerts, exhibitions: The Crespo Foundation has created this gathering place not far from the Römer.
To understand what the “Crespo Open Space”—an exhibition and community space located on the ground floor of the renovated Crespo House, not far from the Römer—is all about, it helps to know who is behind it: It is the Crespo Foundation, a consumable endowment whose assets are intended to be used for charitable purposes. It was founded by Ulrike Crespo—a psychologist, photographer, and Wella heiress who passed away in 2019—whose guiding principle was: “Empowering people.” That is why the foundation is committed to helping people realize their potential in the areas of art, cultural education, personal development, and educational opportunities. The Crespo Open Space, which sees itself as a place for people to come together, hosts a variety of readings, lectures, concerts, and exhibitions.
