Jazzclub Mampf
According to a Frankfurt jazz magazine, Germany's supposedly smallest jazz club is also "the coolest jazz club in Europe": Nowhere else do musicians and audiences come as close as here, on the stage measuring just five square meters. The program ranges from jazz standards to blues or Latin jazz; a small entrance fee is charged for the live concerts. You also get small dishes and a decent selection of drinks.
What also makes the club special: In addition to the music, you can also experience a little journey through time here: Old Mao or anti-nuclear posters on the walls are reminiscent of the founding days of the jazz club in the early 1980s and a corner is reserved for program flyers from 2020 - for concerts that could never take place due to corona. Private donations helped keep the Mampf alive back then; only "the hottest jazz club in Europe" has such a stable fan base.
