One might simply mistake this cube for a modern convention centre, into which plenty of light floods thanks to the gigantic glass facade. But that’s not all: The building, constructed in 2014, was awarded the Platinum Certificate by the German Sustainable Building Council—in part due to its 1,000-square-metre green roof, its energy-efficient lighting and building control systems, and the fact that visual art is an integral part of the interior design.
Conference guests with access to the building can look forward to a literal highlight: Inside Kap Europa is the light art installation “Crossover” by artist Barbara Trautmann.
