KULT-Net Stage - KEY TO KINGDOM BAND
The KULT-Net e.V. association presents on the KULT-Net stage: KEY TO KINGDOM BAND
“Key to My Kingdom”—this song by B.B. King inspired the name of the eight-piece band, whose members find their “key to the kingdom” in their music together. The result is a mix of soul and blues songs complemented by funky and jazzy sounds. The band’s repertoire includes songs by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles.
Lead singer Glenda T. Garcia brings not only her impressive voice but also her experience working with internationally renowned acts to the band. The band’s male vocalist is guitarist Stefan Hohgraefe. Oli Seeger (drums) and Frank Ermecke (bass) provide the right groove. The band’s sound is shaped by Rüdiger Tietze on keyboards, as well as the horn sections and solos by Gregor Mattes (saxophone), Philipp Voll (trumpet), and Markus von Hammel (harp).
Since 2022, the band has performed together about 50 times at major events and on smaller stages in the Rhine-Main, Rheingau, and Rheinhessen regions. For these experienced musicians, “Key to Kingdom” is a labor of love, designed to ensure that the musicians’ enthusiasm is passed on to the audience. Singing along and dancing along are expressly encouraged.
