ART ROOFTOP DAY
The big open-air art event
On Saturday, 23 August, from 3 to 8 p.m., our Skyline Garden will be transformed into a creative world of experience: ART ROOFTOP DAY combines interactive art activities, performance art and a relaxed rooftop atmosphere – free of charge and open to everyone!
Whether with family, friends or alone – all art enthusiasts and curious minds are invited to join in, watch and be inspired. Our goal: to make art accessible to everyone – in a playful, colourful and collaborative way.
Here's what you can expect:
ART DART – The rotating colour explosion
A colour spectacle for the brave: Throw paint onto a rotating canvas and create abstract, unique works of art. Each throw is both random and expressive. Ready for a splash of colour?
ART SPIN – Painting with a pendulum
Here, physics takes over the brush: a pendulum-like cup drips paint onto the canvas in elegant arcs – hypnotic, meditative and surprisingly beautiful.
ART LINE – The great collaborative work
One stroke per person – one huge work of art. What happens when lots of people connect their lines to form one big whole? Find out and become part of our community art piece!

Live art on the art lawn
In addition to the interactive stations, live art will be created on our ‘art lawn’: professional artists from Frankfurt and the surrounding area will paint and create directly on site using easels and canvases. Visitors are invited to watch, ask questions or simply linger in the peaceful, creative atmosphere.
