Temporary constructs with David-Luis Grimm in Sossenheim
David Luis Grimm brings his concept of temporary constructs to the Democracy Kiosks. Using simple connections, sculptural objects and contexts are formed from various elements. By actively involving supposed outsiders, the hierarchy between the creation and reception of an artistic work is flattened. The recycling of the elements follows an ecologically and economically sustainable logic that breaks through the relic-like nature of a work of art.
David Luis Grimm (*1989, lives in Bamberg, Germany) works primarily in installations and sculptures, graphically and with people. His works often include the direct or potential actions of others. With a playful approach that puts processes before results, he creates temporary, open works of art.
