Sachsenhausen also has its own rooftop restaurant—and what a place it is: On the sixth floor of the Vienna House by Wyndham Frankfurt South, you can enjoy views of the Frankfurt skyline and the glass-enclosed kitchen at the same time. There, Executive Chef Kevin Petersen and his team prepare exquisite à la carte dishes from the rotating weekly menu or their popular three-course set menu. Petersen promises his guests “German ingredient-driven cuisine,” which means: ingredients and basic recipes come from the region but are often refined with an exotic twist.
Before, during, or after your meal, we recommend checking out the bar menu, which features over 90 different drinks. The Blasky Brunch is also very popular. On Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there’s a buffet featuring typical breakfast items at first, with an increasing selection of hot dishes as noon approaches.
