Frankfurt Artists' Club at the Nebbien Garden House

Anyone strolling through the Bockenheimer Anlage between the Alte Oper and the Eschenheimer Tor on a Sunday morning or Friday evening who suddenly hears soft sounds may find themselves near a small yellow cottage entwined with grapevines: it is the Nebbiensche Gartenhaus. Built in 1810, it was spared from the air raids during World War II and has served as the home and creative hub of the Frankfurt Artists’ Club since 1955. The association offers artists and art lovers a platform for exchange and is dedicated to promoting young and emerging artists. The little cottage in the park hosts rotating exhibitions, music matinees, afternoon readings, and jazz concerts.
