Christmastime Tour: Frankfurt's New Old Town and further highlights around the city's Christmas market
The guided city tour winds through the winding alleys of the New Old Town and ties its architecture to stories about historic Frankfurt.
Amid the Imperial Cathedral, reconstructed Old Town houses, and contemporary new buildings, well-known landmarks and surprising details come into focus. The Roman Forum and St. Paul’s Church are also among the stops. Along the way, participants learn interesting facts about the neighborhood’s origins as well as Frankfurt’s Christmas traditions and specialties.
The walk ends near the Frankfurt Christmas Market. There, you can continue exploring the city’s history on your own among festively decorated stalls and culinary offerings.
