The Museum of Culinary Art and Table Culture at the Museumsuferfest

Exhibition Event
The Frankfurt Museum of Culinary Art is a place where historical and contemporary eating and drinking culture in all its facets is discussed, explored and researched; at the same time, it is a place of teaching for professional catering and hospitality in the private sphere with seminars and lectures. On the basis of cultural history, the exhibitions and events will always focus on today's culinary art and dining culture. The museum ties in with the culinary, gastronomic and table culture exhibitions, the culinary arts museum located on Untermaikai until 1937 and the rich, long history of hospitality culture in Frankfurt am Main. Thanks to the tireless work of volunteers and the civic spirit of the foundation, the extensive collection of objects, literature and archives can now be made accessible to the public.

In our new exhibition, we are showing culinary art and table culture objects from medieval pressure cookers to forgotten objects from around 1950.
