Fortuna Irgendwo
“Sanatorium for the Mentally and Nervously Ill on the Union Grounds”—that’s the tagline beneath the “Fortuna Irgendwo” logo. And this isn’t meant to be a typical club where concerts, parties, and performances take place, but—according to the Fortuna team’s own description—“eternal summer: warmth, sun, sea, and laissez-faire” in Frankfurt’s Ostend, a former working-class neighbourhood. Housed in an old boiler house dating back to 1908—which served as the home of the legendary King Kamehameha Club for many years—this art-filled event venue features a stage for live performances, a dance floor, a light art wall, a jungle garden, and several bars, “Fortuna Irgendwo” is ready for dancing, flirting, and partying. In short: it offers plenty of opportunities for at least a moment of happiness.
