Kaiserpfalz franconofurd
The Archaeological Museum Frankfurt presents the former archaeological garden on the Domhügel with the oldest preserved remains of buildings in Frankfurt in a new architectural and museum form.
The imperial palace franconofurd, protected by the "Stadthaus am Markt", offers a window into the origins of the city of Frankfurt: a Roman bath, the walls of the Carolingian royal court, late medieval cellars - traces of around 2000 years of the city's history! In addition, selected finds from the excavations in the heart of Frankfurt's old town are presented in a new exhibition room.
