The Weltkulturen Museum, housed in three Wilhelminian-style villas on the Museumsufer, is a central location for interdisciplinary cooperation.
With its changing exhibitions, events and a wide range of educational programmes, it promotes intercultural exchange and understanding of other cultures. The museum has a collection of around 67,000 objects from all continents and island states as well as more than 100,000 ethnographic photographs and films and a public library with 50,000 international books and magazines.

- The Weltkulturen Museum at Schaumainkai 29 is closed due to renovation work and the installation of a new lighting system.
On Thursday, November 12, the exhibition “The Seruya Archive. Studies of the Wafuranki” will open at the Weltkulturen Labor (Schaumainkai 37).
The main building is scheduled to reopen with a new exhibition in the spring of 2027. Price info
