Performing Arts Theatre
The long-standing Schauspiel Frankfurt is the largest theatre of the spoken word in the Rhine-Main region and is also well regarded across Germany as a cultural platform with a nationwide profile.

In the four venues – Schauspielhaus, Kammerspiele, Box and Bockenheimer Depot – renowned directors such as David Bösch, Felicitas Brucker, Barbara Bürk, Jan-Christoph Gockel, Roger Vontobel, Johanna Wehner bring both classics and contemporary drama from Ferdinand Schmalz, Anja Hilling, Lize Spit or Fredrik Brattberg on stage.
In addition to the large-scale urban project »All our Futures", performances, workshops and discussions expand the offer for young people at the Junge Schauspiel Frankfurt.
As part of the »Studio Jahr Schauspiel", which was introduced in 2017, seven acting students from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt are completing their third year of training at the Schauspiel Frankfurt.
